Lucas Testro is a screenwriter and director from Melbourne, Australia. His credits include the award-winning short films I'm You Dickhead, Capes, Street Angel and Jigsaw Girl, and the television drama series Neighbours and Winners & Losers. In 2013, he made his theatre directing debut in 2013 with the critically-acclaimed Melbourne Fringe Festival hit Songs For Europe.

Critics have called Lucas's work “brash”, “hilarious”, “mind-melting” and “fabulous intelligent, funny & moving”. His work is distinguished by a love of the special & odd in all of us, a strong command of genre storytelling, and a sensitive exploration of character.
